Inspiring national workshop for coaches a major success in Estonia

Jüri, Estonia, March 6, 2020. On Saturday, about 100 participants attended the national workshop organised by the Estonian Volleyball Federation – one of the partners of the Erasmus+ funded project “Play Volleyball, Grow with it” – in the city of Jüri.
This was the first such workshop organised by one of the partner National Federations – with more due to follow later this month in North Macedonia and Slovakia.
Such an exciting day started with a theoretical session given by CEV Instructor Kristof De Loose, which lasted for about two hours and ended with a series of questions from the participants, who showed much interest in the coaching philosophy of the Belgian expert. The attendees wished to understand how they could implement what they had learned in their own lessons or coaching sessions with kids and young players.
The afternoon practical session was a very interesting one too – with much room left to the creativity of the participants, who could ‘invent’ their own drills while working in smaller groups.
All of the attendees looked very satisfied with the opportunity to learn new exercises and techniques, while sharing their experiences and ideas with other colleagues working at the entry level of the game.
