CEV President pays visit to Italian Federation, praises their work to grow Volleyball

Rome, Italy, January 23, 2020. CEV President Aleksandar Boričić travelled to Rome to pay a visit to the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) and meet with members of their Board of Administration, accompanied by CEV Senior Vice-President Renato Arena.
It was an opportunity for the CEV President and his Italian colleagues to review a number of items of common interest such as the international calendar, the activities of national teams and clubs, the new ranking system adopted by the FIVB, as well as the next major events and plans designed by the CEV to grow European Volleyball even further.
FIPAV President Pietro Bruno Cattaneo expressed his satisfaction with the efforts made by the CEV leadership to initiate a Volleyball revolution. The CEV President, on the other hand, thanked the Italian Volleyball Federation for their warm welcome while spending good words about the outstanding work that FIPAV have been doing on their end to make Volleyball one of the most popular and successful sports in their country.
