With 5 weeks still to go, 64k have signed up to join #1DayMore4Volleyball!
News from the CEV
Luxembourg, January 20, 2020. As many as 64,305 Volleyball enthusiasts have signed up this far to join the second edition of #1DayMore4Volleyball! This figure breaks the record from the 2016 edition of the mass participation event due to take place on this year’s leap day, with many more expected to join as we are still some five weeks away from the actual event.
It all started back on January 4 when the CEV launched the registration process with the help of a number of star players from all disciplines – such as Eda Erdem, Tijana Boskovic, Viacheslav Krasilnikov, and Florian Schnetzer – featuring in the #VolleySkillChallenge trailer. While displaying their ability to play the ball with their full body, these stars invited Volleyball fans from across Europe to sign up and get ready for #1DayMore4Volleyball, the ultimate ‘Volleyball party’ due to take place on February 29, 2020.
The actual number of participants accounts for as many as 6,478 games up to the symbolic mark of 29 points due to take place on leap day across 1,386 venues. However, the European Volleyball family wishes to take these numbers to an even more impressive level and encourages you to accept the invitation of superstar, Olympic and World champion Bruno Rezende:
If you register, you will be a part of a truly historic day for European Volleyball; moreover, you will be able to have a shot at one of the prizes at stake. The most coveted one includes travel, accommodation and attendance at the eagerly anticipated CEV Champions League Volley 2020 Super Finals, which are due to take place on May 16 at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin!
Do not waste any more time, check out the official website https://1daymore4volleyball.cev.eu and get your friends on board to help make sure February 29 will go down in history!
