CEV President thanks Minister of Youth and Sports for support in delivery of women’s European Olympic qualifier

Ankara, Turkey, January 8, 2016. CEV President Aleksandar Boričić travelled on Thursday night to Ankara to follow the final stages of the women’s European Olympic Qualifier which is being held at Baskent Volleyball Hall in Turkey’s capital. On Friday Mr Boričić met with Turkey’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Akif Cagatay Kilic.

The CEV President was accompanied by CEV Vice President & Treasurer and Turkish Volleyball Federation President, Mr Özkan Mutlugil.

Mr Boričić said he was pleased with the organisation of the women’s European Olympic Qualifier in Ankara where everything has been running smoothly so far and thanked Mr Kilic for the support provided by the country’s Ministry of Youth and Sports in the delivery of the event.



Mr Kilic presented the CEV President with a Turkish coffee set as souvenir from his visit to Turkey and to the premises of his Ministry.
