Check out video clip to follow transformation of Parken into Volleyball arena
2013 CEV VELUX Volleyball European Championship - Men

Copenhagen, Denmark, September 29, 2013. On Saturday Volleyball fans from all over the world got to see on TV a wonderful picture as the four top teams in Europe played the semis of the 2013 CEV VELUX EuroVolley at Parken national stadium. Some 5,000 people got together there for the semis whereby Russia and Italy got the right to play for gold on Sunday.
Many have been wondering about the way this soccer stadium could be turned into a Volleyball arena in only 36 hours. The transformation of Parken was a huge and very complicated process with more than 200 people involved. Everything got started on Thursday evening and the last minor details were fixed shortly before the first semifinal starring Russia and Serbia played on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. Right upon completion of the awards ceremony, the same workers will be back in action as they only have a few hours to make sure Parken returns to his usual and ordinary appearance.
The transformation of Parken stadium into a Volleyball arena has been documented in a short video clip that you can find right here and where you get to see the various stages of this process with the roof being closed, the grass covered and the Volleyball court being set up.
