Politechnika can't wait for Polish final with European trophy at stake
2012 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup - Men

Warsaw, Poland, March 25, 2012. Politechnika WARSZAWSKA is very much looking forward to the final of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup which has turned into a derby with Tytan AZS CZESTOCHOWA. This is the very first time in history that two teams from the same country have qualified for the last and deciding act of this competition.
Even though these clubs did not advance to the semifinals of the PlusLiga, still they are in full contention for European glory. The first final match will be played this coming Tuesday at Arena “Ursynow” in Poland’s capital city. “The sports hall will be packed as the tickets are being sold very quickly. This match is really drawing much attention” says the PR Manager of Politechnika, Adrian Komorowski.
The home team has got some good omen resulting from the previous matches played against Tytan in the national league which ended in a double 3:2 win. “There is a long rivalry and it is not easy at all to defeat CZESTOCHOWA. However, we shall just forget our previous wins and focus entirely on these finals” says team captain Marcin Nowak. “We shall profit of the home advantage on Tuesday before we go for the return game in Czestochowa. These are the most important games of the season and I can only promise we will do our best to take home the trophy” he adds.
