Greek DJs set the tempo of real Beach Volleyball fiesta in Larnaka
2015 CEV U20 Beach Volleyball European Championship

Larnaka, Cyprus, September 5, 2015. Greek DJs Costas Seretis and Demetris Svarnias have become something of a tradition in Beach Volleyball events taking place in Cyprus, and the 2015 CEV U20 Beach Volleyball European Championship is the tenth time that they have come to the Mediterranean island to generate enthusiasm for such an event.

Having started their beach careers in 1999, they are now more experienced than ever in creating a unique atmosphere. “We know what the fans really want as we’ve been to many big Beach Volleyball events around Europe. The highlight for us, coming from Greece, was when we participated in the fun of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens,” said Seretis.

Going back to Cyprus, they have travelled all over the island and ‘joined in’ in all the main hosting cities. “We don’t have a preference, as every town is different and unique. Limassol is good for its nightlife, Paphos for its tournament parties, and Larnaka has excellent court facilities which are really helpful for our job,” said Svarnias.

When we asked them if they have decided what they will include in their playlist for tonight’s finals, as much as we pressurised them, they just said that we will have to be a little bit more patient as they have many surprises in store which have a connection with the Guinness Book of Records…
